Thanksgiving is the best holiday in my opinion.  I have a lot of reasons, but here are a few that stand out as the biggest:

• It is a holiday for everyone in the country, religion and other things don’t matter!
• It is a celebration centered around making friends and making peace.  It is 100% not tied to war!
• There are no gifts exchanged, it is 99.99% not commercial.  The .01% that is commercial is the Macy’s Day parade.
• Great food!!
• Time with family
• We are focused on what we are thankful for, not what is wrong, not what is broken.
• It is a time to be humble.
